Just trying to see how things work around here. This is a picture from our trip to Monterey a couple weeks ago. We had planned on flying Space A to Hawaii, but that didn't work out so good for us. So instead we spent a couple days in Monterey and then a couple days camping at Blue Lake. More pics to follow soon...
Jim thought that it would be a lot of fun to rent a six person bicycle. Jaylee and Kammie got to sit in the front seat with nothing in front of them but beautiful sites and oncoming traffic. They squealed and laughed the whole time. Jim soon changed his mind about how much fun it would be once we started pedaling up the path (about a mile up the beach and then back). It was definately alot harder than it looked. It was a good thing that Amber was with us, she was alot of help peddling. Kelsey didn't like the bicycle. She was frightened and was very unhappy the whole time. She couldn't reach the pedals either.
We visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium while we were in Monterey. It was wonderful and we purchased season tickets because it was only $4 more that what it would cost for us to go one time. The Aquarium was very child friendly and highly recommended. This picture of the girls is a penguin egg. They had many different activities for the kids to really get a hands on feel to how animal life is.
