Kelsey's Big Day

We have had a big day around here. Kelsey got her braces on today. Well they actually call this a 2X4. She doesn't have the molars that they would normally attach the back brackets to yet so they are doing this first. She will wear these for about a year and then wait til the others come in. Great!!!! Second child in braces. She had to get blue bands of course, her favorite color.

Ale and Chris came to visit us during spring break. I unfortunately didn't get much more than a couple hours to visit with them because I got a call that I needed to travel home quickly to be with my grandpa Gene. He had been diagnosed with cancer only a couple weeks prior. Chris stayed at the house an extended time to help Jim out with the girls and it was such a huge BLESSING!!! These pics were taken the day after I came home just moments before he left. Amber took the one of Ale, she has such an artistic eye!!! She thought that Chris and I looked like twins sitting there talking.
