Amber worked really hard on her mask for art class and it paid off. She got an A+. Way to go!!

Kammie gets her GROOVE on

Kammie is dancing during the local Christmas tree lighting. Her dance was to Jingle Bells. It was the version from the Elf soundtrack.
Kammie did wonderful and really stood out. She even got the attention of the owner of the studio. Kammie wants to know when she will be in Company.

She also did a dance to Frosty the Snowman. Jaylee was supposed to do this one to but it was the night after her eeg and she was running on 36 hours of no sleep. Needless to say, she was not in the best of moods for dancing.

Show Lady the LOVE

We are so happy that Lady is beginning to trust us more. We gave her a bath over the weekend. We were told that she didn't like a hose and so we were worried about it but she did really well. We will take more time with it next time and use detangler on her tail too.
I am not sure but I think that Amber and Lady are really developing a special bond. Lady really responds well to Amber and vise versa. Amber is taking on a lot of Lady's daily duties.
All of us enjoyed loving on her!!!

Life at the stables

Amber is cleaning Lady's hooves, cleaning out her hooves is using her nightly chore.
Well this one is a pretty bad picture, but it is pretty accurate for our days and nights these days. We are rushed between dance and taking care of lady.
As you can see, everyone has to help out with the chores. Jaylee even told Jim when he came home last Sunday that he wasn't putting the shaving in the stall right. So far there haven't been any complaints about cleaning up ucky messes.

Amber's Riding 2nd Lesson

Amber is taking riding lessons on Tonto. She is really loving it and having a great time. She just needs to learn to be a little more aggressive. She takes after me, doesn't want to hurt the horse.
Marty is trying to teach Amber balance on Tonto. She has many different exercises that she has to do.

Our recent trip to Six Flags

One of our very favorite things to do at Six Flags is going to the Butterfly Garden. We love to spend a long time in the garden. It is very hot and humid but well worth it. You have never seen such a beautiful sight in your life. It may be the one place on earth that my girls are still and quite besides the library.

Jaylee loves to sit and watch the butterflys. You literally have to drag her on to the next spot, once you point out something else for her to look at she will finally decide to move on. She is just facinated.

This butterfly is called a paper kite.


This last time we went to six flags they were getting ready for Halloween. The had a maze made out of hay bales in one of the water rides that is shut down for the colder weather.

Most all of the characters were out and they were in costumes. They even had trick or treating in the evening in the kiddie area.

Some of my newest designs

Here are some of my newest designs. Mostly, what I have been creating are directly related to launches that my ebay group are doing. We recently had a spider launch,hence the two different pairs of spider overalls that I have shown here. One of them I have painted which I occasionally list my painted items to sell on ebay. I also recently made this cute peasant top and skirt for Jaylee. It is your typical Halloween colors so I listed it in a Halloween catagory and it won on one of the ebay group sites as number seven in Halloween listings. I don't know if this is my first time to place in one of these catagories, but it is the first time for me to know about it.


Lastly, is Alice. I made her for a friend's little girl. Her birthday party is going to be an Alice in Wonderland theme. If I don't find more of this fabric before February she is going to send them back to me so that Jaylee can borrow them to wear to the girls dance recital. They are doing Alice with a Twist. Jaylee doesn't get to be in this one because it is strickly ballet and at the studio that they dance at right now you have to be four to take ballet.

Jim's Trip to Spain

Jim went to Spain this past week and while he was there he visited Seville. This picture is the tomb of Christopher Columbus. This was kinda neat to see because Amber and I are both studying about Christopher Columbus in our History classes.

This was a castle that Jim saw while he was driving in the countryside. I would love to just be driving out in the country and happen upon a castle like this. Do you think a prince still lives there???

The inside of the church was just beautiful. I wish that I would have gotten to see the church in person. Maybe someday...

The pics got a little out of order...but here is Baron watching a fighter being refueled. Jim got the idea from Baron from Gosma when they went to Oshkosh together. This way the girls can relate to the pictures of the places that he visits.


Jim needed to get his horsey fix. While he was on the other side of the world petting this horsey I was having my own horse issues here... still trying to get all of lady's vaccines taken care of so that we can stable her on base.

We have a new member of the family

Painted Lady


We bought her yesterday and hope to get her to the base stables soon. The girls don't know that she is ours yet. She is going to be an early Christmas present. Thanks to the help of my parents and grandpa.

Jim just got home from his first trip as being pilot in command. It was alot of long hours but it sounds like he had a really great time. He brought back some great coral for the girls and some awesome pics.
